Homestead Family Herbal Kit: Farmhouse Teas

Elderberry syrup: We make elderberry gummies from Farmhouse Teas, many brands sell spoonable syrups.

Baobab: Trim Healthy Mama, “This amazing fruit grown on the majestic Baobab tree boosts your nutrition in every area. Its citrus and sherbet-tasting dried flesh has five times the fiber of oats, and higher antioxidant levels than any food on the planet (8 times that of the super berry Acai, and more than blueberries and pomegranates combined!) It has more than twice the calcium of milk, double the magnesium and iron of spinach, and is loaded with six times the potassium of bananas.”

Garlic Capsules: Raw garlic works as well.

Emergen-C: These powdered vitamin and mineral drink packages are great when you feel something coming on.

Bone Broth: Consider keeping homemade bone broth in the freezer or a shelf-stable option in your pantry. I don’t like drinking bone broth by itself so I put it in chicken noodle soup or homemade roman yum!!

Earthly Feel Better Fast: This tincture can help support your body’s natural immune system so that it works more efficiently. It has key herbs like Echinacea angustifolia root, fennel seed, astragalus root, elderflower, and cinnamon.

Cod Liver Oil: Cod Liver Oil has vitamin D, which is good for the immune system.

Probiotics and Milk Kefir: Helps support the immune system and has over 30 strands of probiotics. We like to make milk kefir smoothie bowls.

Vitamin C: We up our vitamin C when we feel sick, but we also take it daily during the winter months.

Zinc: Excellent for extra immune health, I like the liquid drops for the kids.

Air Purifier: We keep several around the house year-round.

Dr. Wholeness Vitamin D3 + K2: Most people are low in Vitamin D3 in the winter, and it is vital to immune health! I love having a liquid Vitamin D3-K2 that I can give my kids since they’re not into swelling pills yet.  Having adequate Vitamin D levels helps to strengthen your immune system.
