This strawberry chamomile lemonade tastes like summer in a glass with only four simple ingredients. Easily made by anyone in under 10 minutes. Add edible flowers that will impress any crowed. This beverage is so simple and so delicious!!

It is that time of summer when the heat picks up and my kids and I are looking for ways to cool down. We love jumping in the pool and drinking fresh lemonade. We also love iced tea, and this recipe marries the two perfectly together. Even better it incorporates fresh strawberries.

I made this beverage for the first time at my girl’s birthday party. They had a garden tea party, and I wanted an iced tea drink as an alternative to hot tea. This drink perfectly balanced the flavor of chamomile tea with lemons and strawberries.

Alternatively, this is also a great way to involve the kids. The recipe and steps are simple enough for the little ones, and just enough for the older ones to perhaps try taking the reins. My children love this beverage and frequently ask to make it. It is such a sweet reward on a hot day.
Tips for Making Strawberry Chamomile Lemonade:
- You can use frozen strawberries if it’s cheaper for you or out of season.
- I bought my chamomile from Mountain Rose Herbs, but you can also use tea bags from your local grocery store.
- You can use raw cane sugar, coconut sugar, or sucanat for a more natural substitute. The color of coconut and sucanat won’t give you a bright pink/red colored lemonade.
How To Make Strawberry Chamomile Lemonade:
Start by washing your strawberries and cutting off the tops. Slice strawberries.

Wash, peal, and juice two lemons.

Add lemon juice, lemon peel, quart of sliced strawberries, and 1/2 cup sugar to a pot and let simmer for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile steep 1/4 cup of chamomile tea in 5 cups of water.

Once the tea has cooled down add everything to a pitcher and add ice. You can add edible flowers from the garden for an added touch.
